A few weeks ago in his weekly column, Shlomo Artzi wrote about the late legendary Israeli singer-song-writer, Meir Ariel. this Illustration relates to a wonderful story he used tell about his relationship with his crazed-grass-mowing neighbor.
Ariel was not of the same horticultural inclination. He invested his efforts in maintaining his neighbor’s grass green by neglecting his own loan.
Ariel had a different relationship with grass, and it wasn’t of the kind people are in the habit of mowing… In memory of a great artist.
For those amongst you for whom Hebrew is an accessible language, here is a link to A video in which Ariel delivers the story in a live show.
